Dhaner Khet is handwoven on a pit loom. Slight variations in the woven temple lines, zari detailing, pallu stripes and handloom surface may naturally occur. These are part of the handmade character of the textile and should not automatically be considered defects.

Mustard yellow silk and ordered temple lines create the field, while a measured zari edge and bottle green pallu with purple stripes give the composition its distant tree line.
Handwoven in Bankura's Sonamukhi region, Kalakshetra silk is known for natural lustre, graceful drape and rich contrasts. Here, woven temple lines structure the mustard body before bottle green closes the saree.
