Product details +
Hari Jaali — a green lattice.
A small geometric pattern moves across green linen from end to end.
Close.
Even.
Repeated like light passing through a carved screen.
The body carries this small geometric pattern with a silver zari edge, bringing together the matte character of linen and a narrow metallic line.
The border itself remains precise — silver zari against green.
At the pallu, the geometry gives way to thin strips of leaves and silver zari stripes.
Pattern through the field.
Silver at the edge.
Leaves at the close.
According to the supplied craft information, Dabu is a mud-resist hand block printing tradition of Rajasthan. A resist paste made from mud and natural binders is pressed onto the cloth using carved wooden blocks before dyeing. When the paste is washed away, the resisted pattern remains.
Every impression is placed by hand, block beside block, making small shifts in alignment part of the character of the cloth.
Worked in Rajasthan using the hand block print method, with a supplied making time of approximately 12–15 days.
The blouse piece returns to simplicity in single-colour green linen.
Quiet enough for every day, sharp enough to be noticed.

Care & handmade variations +
Dry clean only.
Hari Jaali is hand block printed using the Dabu mud-resist technique. Because every block impression is placed by hand, small shifts in alignment and variations in the repeated geometric pattern are natural characteristics of the craft rather than flaws.

A close geometric pattern covers the green linen almost like a lattice, while silver zari cools the edge and fine leaf strips change the rhythm at the pallu.
In Rajasthan's Dabu tradition, mud resist is pressed onto cloth with carved wooden blocks before dyeing, leaving the repeated pattern behind when the resist is washed away.
