Then the pallu blooms. Fuchsia pink and yellow Gomi Teni arrive together — the brightest part of the saree deliberately saved for the close. That sequence gives Hasiru Thota its character — green first, a line of light pink, then fuchsia and yellow. The plain body gives all that colour somewhere to land.
