Sanje Mugilu — evening clouds.
This Ilkal saree begins warm.
Pink moves into orange through the body, like the west at six o'clock.
The body itself remains plain, letting that shift in colour carry the saree.
Then the mood changes.
At the pallu, warm gives way to cool.
Silk Gomi Teni in grey and purple closes the saree in the colours the sky keeps for after.
Between them sits the Chikki Paras border, joining two very different colour registers in one composition.
That transition is the heart of Sanje Mugilu.
Pink and orange.
Grey and purple.
Day becoming evening.
Handwoven on a pit loom in Ilkal, Karnataka, in viscose cotton, with a supplied making time of approximately 5–7 days.
The blouse piece continues the warmer palette in viscose and cotton, pink and orange.
A saree with weather in it — worn best when the day is ending well.

Care & handmade variations +
Dry clean only.
Sanje Mugilu is handwoven on a pit loom. Slight variations in the weave, colour transition, border definition and pallu detailing may naturally occur.
According to the supplied craft information, Ilkal sarees are distinguished by the relationship between body, border and pallu, with traditional design vocabulary including Gomi, Chikki Paras, Gaadi, checks, stripes and geometric motifs.
Minor variations are part of the handmade character of the textile and should not automatically be considered defects.
Shipping & final sale +
Dispatches in 3–5 business days. Shipping within India only. All sales are final. Returns are not accepted.
Ilkal is defined by the contrast between body, border and pallu. Here, a plain pink-and-orange viscose-cotton body meets Chikki Paras at the edge, before a grey-and-purple silk Gomi Teni pallu completes the shift.
